Destroys your old Bond of Blood and Soil and gives you a new one. Also drops half of your current authority on your claim. Useful if you drop it, have it stolen, or die and lose it. If someone else owns your bond of blood and soul for 96 hours then they take control of your claim.

My mistake. I've just never used it on a claim that wasn't at max presence.
