Looking for Bits n' BObs

Allo, I pretty much just want a wee client that uses free camera/saves map pieces and some sort of map maker that works well.
There are so many clients now it's hard to figure out which is a handy one to use. I like many other lads used Enders since...well forever, but i cannot seem to open the console and set the camera to free. Thought maybe there was other clients that might add to Enders amazing work.

Also what's a good map maker to use. I tried two so far and they seemed a bit messy for my thick head to use.

Sounds, thanks again

Amber's is pretty good and can quickly switch to free cam with shift+C.

for maps i use TP Map Tool, it takes a bit of work to set up especially with caves, but once you get used to it it's not so hard. just follow the user manual. or this:

Options:
-> map archive directory is where the program will save your map files, just have it somewhere in your haven game folder.
-> sessions directory is where your maps are saved while playing, for amber client this is simply in the folder/map.

that's all you need to start, really. after that click Map -> Merge:Auto and it will link your maps together.

I got the map stitcher thingy working. It's fine and dandy.

It's odd I kinda trust Enders one quiet a bit, what has Ambers got that Enders doesnt at any rate?

it has more options such as alarms when curios are finished or other players are nearby, simple crops & forageables, showing selected boulders/trees/bushes on minimap etc (check the thread for a full list). don't think ender's has any of those. amber is based on ender's though.:)

Ok I'll give Ambers a wee shot around too, I like how it seems that the map icons are easily toggled on and off. Thanks everyone
