Both village and personal claims are a little bit different now. Personal claims remain largely the same but have an individual upkeep that is "paid" either from your lp pool or your study but only one person can pay it at a time. They can also be stolen if someone gets their hands on your Bond of Blood and Soil and studies it for 96 hours.
Village claims can allow for blanket outsider rules permitting theft, trespassing, etc by changing permissions on the white color. Individual villagers can also be given different permissions and areas can be designated specially via cairns now to control the village even more. Villages can no longer declaim personal claims that are older than their influence in the area. So if personal claim was there before your village claim was, you cannot just revoke their claim. Statues no longer expand v claims.
Otherwise the basic differences apply. Anyone can walk over a village claim without leaving trespassing scents, v claims can only be expanded via Banners, all village members give the village authority, etc.
