LP Gain Multiplier

Postby bekill » Fri Oct 09, 2015 1:01 am

Has anybody determined the formula for the LP gain multiplier yet? It is apparent, even more so after the Amber Client's recent change to quality calculations on curios, that the quality number does not have a direct correlation to the LP gain multiplier on said curio.

From what I have seen so far, it looks like the LP gain multiplier has a weighted value as any particular stat (e/s/v) gets extremely high. A quick example would be to look at a 10/100/10 curio and a 40/40/40 curio, you will see that the 10/100/10 curio will be a far greater LP Gain multiplier than the 40/40/40 even though their average is the same number.

I did notice that my 10/10/40 gave a higher LP modifier than 10/20/20, but I hadn't thought to look too much further into it.

Total LP = (Base LP) * sqrt(sqrt((E^2+S^2+V^2)/3)/10)

Well even if it didn't follow this formula 10 10 40 is total 60 and 10 20 20 is only 50. Or the difference from q 10 is 30 vs 20
