How long does Stitch patch take?

I couldave easily applied 10 gauzes in the same time this cruel insicion is taking to heal up, is it supposed to be this slow.. i know the description says glacially slow but its really annoyingly slow, like 1 point per 24 hours and i got 30 still left on that wound...

Devs did not intend to make wretched gore healable, as far as I understand forums. So those stitches were a gesture of generosity, however, it came with the classic Jorbtar: it applies an unpleasant debuff for a few months )

And yes, you could've healed those with gauzes.

Welp.. too bad i cant remove the 'stitched' patch and just apply a gauze on it... because that doesnt sound realistic ;>

Jorb also mentioned that quality affects the speed of the healing. So for stitching that's very important. I'm stuck with a 45 wretched gore atm

So a month, wohoo.. cant we have an option to remove the stitched patch.. and apply a gauze (removing the patch from your person)? or apply a gauze on top of it?

That could be useful, I think, since many of the wounds can be healed with two methods now.
