Yet another taming question.

Im pretty sure this is a silly question, but I couldnt find answer anywhere in other taming related topics:

Can you tame an animal by shooting at it? Calculate the aurochs health and the dmg you do with arrows, shoot it just enough to leave the % of health neccesary for it to yeild?

Haven't tried but I guess yes. Might need a lot of fine tunning of the arrows and bows used. In melee nothing fine tunes as well as a punch though.

I will try it then. Anyone happens to know the health values for goat and auroch?

I've seen in another topic that you can. Problem is that with a q10 bow, if you let the aim bar grows, you'll most probably 1 kill a mouflon! Aurochs takes me 3 hits with q10 bow, q10 arrows to kill (hitting arround 140 or something like that). Try getting a really low q bow (q5 or less), low q arrows, and don't let the aim bar gow to much, and you may get low hits that you can control better! Still have to try it myself

I have an alt with 5 MM using a Q11 bow and Q10 arrows did the first fight with 1 arrow. The second fight, probably got a Q15 arrow from quiver and 1 shot killed the mouflon. I will make a batch of Q10 or less arrows for next try.
