Kill Deer/Badger's

So how does one kill a deer ever? Considering now that trapping them is impossible. I guess the question is what Q Bow/Arrows will one shot a deer, since UA would have to be insane to be able to kill it without it running.
Same with badger, they run faster than me on the third run speed on grassland, what UA do I need to kill without running, or Q Bow/Arrow? Seem's like the only worthwhile animal I can kill now is boar, by cliff aggro and running them down. Any Idea's Input?

I think q15+ bows can one shot deers. I'm using a q10 bow, last time I killed a deer was 1 arrow for arround 170 dmg, 1 punch for less than 20 dmg, and it was down!
Badgers seems to have more life tough... but you can shot them, deaggro, run in the direction they'r running and wait for them to stop after a while so you can at least close gap to them, aggro, take aim, chop. You may even get luck and a fox finishes it for you as just happened to me while hunting a badger!

So I'm starting to think most of the damage is based on arrows Q, not bow.
Time to craft q30 arrows

Q15arrows with enough mm to achieve 180-200 damage.
Q20 to hit 220-240 or so.

Badgers not hard to kill. I did it with 40 ua 45 agi and wrough sword without any armor. With metal axe and punch(60 - 70 str) works too, but slighly harder.

With 55 ua and 60 agi it's very easy target. I think with proper sword you can oneshot deer.

Horseback hunting

One of the obvious answers. The front and back of the horse can't be attacked by animals, or at least you wont be hit. however you can attack as if you were a chess piece. Move to the side of the creature then directly into it in an L shaped way and you'll damage it and it won't damage you, especially if you do it in between movement ticks.

other advice is to get a sword and then you can kill foxes and badgers and bats easily given the right fighting skills.

Much easier to raise the quality of bone arrows, so almost certainly yes.
