Basic controls?

I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else, but its very challenging to identify what is from the old versions and what is from the new. I'm no stranger to UI-challenging games (text muds, DF, EU, etc etc), but I can't find any in-game keybinding reference.

I'm having trouble figuring out the basic controls. Such as movement. WASD, arrow keys, and mouse clicking all seem to fail. I've figured out that I can right click on the minimap to get around, but I'm hoping there's a better way?

I've also noticed that certain keys change my cursor; is there a basic hotkey reference to be had?

Scroll down to UI in the first post for a list of not completely standard hotkeys.

Left clicking on the ground should move you. If it's not I fear you may have the dreaded mac issue. Are you using a mac perchance?

Hahah, yeah, looks like I've got the dreaded mac issue. I'll give it a go on my windows machine and see what happens. Thanks for the quick reply!
