First Aid

I understand the wounds tab and that the only healing cover I can make at this point only works on Swollen Bumps (nettles, string and a dried hide).

Has anyone got any farther than this bandage type?

Will other skills I buy down the skill chain/tree allow me to make other types of healing covers or perhaps discoveries will open new crafting for wound treatment?

Right now we've got four ways to treat wounds:

-Leeches have a chance to convert some of the minor wounds into faster-healing wounds,
-You already know what Stinging poultice does, though it also heals deep cuts
-There is also Gauze made from 1 wool at a loom, it's able to heal fell slashes and it's applied to your accesory slot( so you can't wear necklaces or glasses while it's healing)
-They recently added a Stitch patch (i don't remember the exact recipe, it uses strings, bone glue, metal nugget and hide I believe.). Stitch patch is able to heal major wounds like wretched gore, though insanely slow, heals about 1 point of hhp every 24 hours. And it gives you -10 to agility, perception and charisma each. I think a better way than using this would be upping you con so you compensate for the wound, as the debuff is quite annoying, and you can't get rid of it until it heals.

Wrong. There is 5 ways. (probably more!)

Strange root + Laurel leaves = Rootfill. It instantly heals deep cuts and turns cruel incisions into deep cuts. Get on my level.

Strange roots are freakishly rare, though. If you can get one, sure, it's great, but not one new players are going to run across easily.

And all the healing methods have bee posted by the devs. We might see more for more variety, or if new wound systems come out.

I knew of this one, but didn't know what it did. Thanks for clarification.
