Need a little help with harvesting

Postby Erazorx2 » Sat Oct 17, 2015 10:59 am

Since the wiki seems to be a bit off when it comes to agriculture some questions arose for me.

I have planted lots of different seeds on my plowed field to see how farming works. Carots and beetroots are working fine albeit they seem to grow really slow, they take several days, some things seem to have grown, but even after 4 days i cannot harvest anything. What am i doing wrong?

Also, is there any rule how dense i should plant the seeds? Will it reduce efficiency if i plant to dense?

no rules, you can only plant 1 thing per tile.

Things grows slowly without a bee skep, so you should make one of those.

That is kinda odd, carrots normally grow fully after roughly 24 hours even without a bee skep.

The way you plant your crops does not affect efficiency nor growing time. You can speed up the growth of your crops by building a bee skep near them.

However, bee skeps only affect flowering plants, such as flax and poppies. Don't know the full list, unfortunately.
Come back two hours earlier.
