he isnt being a dick btw. you get exp from basically anything at random(or at least i havent found reason in it).

You JUST a farmer or JUST a miner? You got to tell us what you are or aren't doing. Variety does appear to be the key to this system.

Also, we have a big thread with discussion on this: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=41230. You might try going over that list and see what you haven't gotten an experience for or one you haven't gotten in a while.

You can get xp for doing simple things like having a drink of water, picking something up, seeing a wild animal, making something, etc, etc, etc. just play the game normaly and you should start picking it up. Interacting with a willow tree can net you good xp, maybe start there? the above post's link should give you some ideas.

Well, my farmer alt does not appear to have any problems with experience, though he is used solely for farming, and only logged in about ~20 minutes every day. His 50+ int study is mostly filled, and from what I observed, he gets a ton of experiences like crossing a biome, walking into the house/cellar, drinking, sowing, way more of them than my main that I play much more.
