Stuck in someone's land (from hearthing)

Postby harly » Fri Oct 30, 2015 1:04 pm

Help! I've been playing for hours, finally found some pants, been exploring. Suddenly, I hearthed back to my hearth fire, and unbeknown to me, someone has set up camp in and around my hearth fire. They've got a fence, with gates, used yeomanry, and everything. I HAVE SURVIVED BOAR AND ANT ATTACKS, TRAVELLED THE WILDERNESS AND RIGHT CLICKED FIFTY THOUSAND BIRCH TREES UNTIL I COULD FINALLY MAKE A BIRCH BACK PACK. But I'm stuck. Cause I hearthed back to my hearth fire. Help. Please. I don't have enough LP to get trespassing, my hunger level is super low and I am without food. Can anyone help me/tell me how to escape?

Also, is this a thing that people do? Is it a tactic? Like, what the hell?! Kill me, but leave the hearth fires alone.

I think if you destroy your hearth fire (should hopefully still count as 1 tile of your property above others? idk.) , you will just respawn out somewhere random.

This needs to be fixed.

Either
give the option to spawn in The Wilderness when your hearth is on a claim you have no right to
or
grant temporary trespass/theft/vandalism rights on the claim your hearth is on (until you leave it),
while disabling building a hearth on claims you don't have right to vandalize
or
enable the toon to declaim his hearth (so he can force spawn in The Wilderness) like with a claim, though this could be exploited

Second option i like best, because then you still could claim&bash fires, and would have an incentive to do the latter part of it.

Logged in and helped user out. Should, indeed, be fixed.
