Where do you get iron ochre from

i was digging up clay when i noticed it in my inventory is it from the clay?

Probably you picked it up when you didnt notice? They might have some 0.01% chance to do that to confuse players. But i highly doubt because many people have dug thousands of clay for walls and no one has reported this before i think.

Sometimes it appears on the surface as a boulder. You probably chipped one for something and got the ore.
