Clay/water quality

Postby Asgaroth22 » Sun Nov 01, 2015 11:12 am

Are the quality nodes of ball clay and water somehow connected? Because i'm usually finding similar ql. clay where i find quality water, e.g. i found 10/10/60 water and 10/10/60 clay in the same minimap grid, or ~40 water next to ~40 clay. Are you getting similar results?

I have also found HQ water and ball clay only few tiles from each other.

Ball clay is the common type that's dug up from shallow water. I'm not sure if gray clay (forageable in shallow water) is in the game.

I've heard of quality clumps like that several times. But there's no way to know if it's sample error on the RNG or not.

My water, clay and soil nodes are all within a minimap of each other for example.

Yeah, from a source of 40+/40+/40+ water, the ball clay is 10/10/10. And a spot with 58/62/10 ball clay the water is something like 18/10/10. So from my experience they don't seem to be linked.
