Casting tips - advanced fishing in Hafen

Hi all,

I thought to start a compilation of fishing tips with the new casting-rod. When I get home this evening I'll put together everything I've found- in the meantime, feel free to post anything you would like to add to this tip thread.

It seems to have something to do with the ratio of each 'event' and your responding action. There also may be a correlation with bait type and water depth, but I've only used rock lobster in river shallows for now.

I shall, magic man. Been a bit busy the past couple of days but will try to get to it on my lunch break today.

The tips I have are basically patterns I've noticed. Nothing concrete enough to make an official guide but hopefully with the help of others we can put something more substantial together.

I've gotten to the point where I can reliably fish for zander, pike and bream (with some oddball other fish thrown in that I haven't quite gotten the pattern for yet)

From my experience the bait and depth change the possible fish you can get, and that also changes on a few days, so I suppose there's the moon phase still.

I have quite a bit of experience with casting rod, but I haven't been able to make a good post on it due to classes. And now Tree of Savior is destroying my study performance, so there's that too.

There are so many input variables in fishing:location, deep or shallow water, time of day time of month, type of bait/lure, type of fishing stick, type of hook (as well as not even being sure if something is a variable or not) it might as well be fucking random. It could be and we'd never know. The unreliability also makes it much less interesting for potential cooks even if some of the recipes are worth it. Someone suggested a generic fish decent recipe like meat pie to not feel too bad when you fish out crap fish.
