Easy way to kill boars?

I've gotten my butt kicked by about a dozen boars, so what marksman ship, bow quality and arrow quality is needed to one-shot boars? (I'm super laggy so i can never run at them to kill them after shooting them and making them start running away.) I REALLY need to get revenge on them by feasting on there heads.

With 20 bow, 20 mm and 30 arrows I hit for about 250, leaving about 150 left when they run. So probably close to double that.

I just lure them to my palisaded place ( i live in middle of forest ) either by combat or by clovering and leashing them,then i shoot them and when they start to chase me i run into my house and wait for aggro to reset

That's actually an amazing idea. I'll definetly do that...when i get a palisade...

That means i'm gonna need a frikken lot of LP...(Currently have 20 survival, 10 marksmanship, 10 carpentry etc, so my bow and arrow quality is around ten), although one shot send the boars running, so maybe if i get lucky...

You won't be able to make a bow and arrow good enough to one shot them without bear materials and high (100+) stats.

The easiest way to kill them is to shoot them across the river and run them down, but if those few clicks are "too difficult" somehow, then use two boats with an alt to block them in across the river, and it won't be able to run away. That's how I do bears/lynxes for now, still don't have cleave QQ.

i dont know if it still works but in legacy, i built a boat, searched for boars/bears and shot them, so they follow me to the river.
i then shot them, until they ran away. i followed them, aggro again, rinse and repeat.

would totally bust a bear with >q10 sling q10stones and stats around 20each.

Theres no sling no more but with enough arrows and a q10 bow witch 20MM i think it might be still possible?

Find a bear close to a river, stay close to your boat and shot, jump on boat, go to the other side of the river and shot until he flee.
Click on "peace" and wait until de-aggro, find the bear and hope he is near a river and repeat.

If you lag a lot, get a good armor set and a good sword. You will deflect it's damage and you can either hit it a bit and then chop to end the fight or if your sword/str is high enough just 1 chop the boar
