Beeswax and honey

How to get more wax?
Should I remove honey to get wax or I should wait until Bee Hive will be full of honey instead?
If I remove wax, should I remove honey as well?
What is the better currently?

they have no effect on eachother whatsoever. when crops update you either get some wax or some honey. carrots, beetroots, flax work great for getting wax more quickly.
