Clay/Soil/Water qualities

Postby Kelody » Thu Nov 12, 2015 6:06 pm

Looking at the recent trade posts, ridiculous prices for someone being lucky to find clay/soil/water first, I wonder how my 20-50s compare. I wish I had decent acre clay though. What is considered good, and how rare is it? I'm not looking to show off, or for others to, just what I should be looking for without mapping the world.

with surv 100, in my area I have found few spots with q33 - q39 water, q31-q41 ball clay and I have 3 acre clay fields (10; 10; 14; 24)
I haven't really looked for highter q water and soil, but I I dig q33 soil near my place

Is there a bottom of the world?

I mean, does a hole eventually get too deep for you to be able to dig it, or is it just exponential pain from having to dig up the dirt around the acre clay spot so that you can continue to dig?
