Soak and cave ins

Do steel crucibles have enough soak to withstand a cave in? How about smelters?

Like once you build smelters and crucibles can a cave in break them?

i think they changed it so objects with soak aren't damaged by cave-ins. can't find the post this instant though.

edit: got it. valhalla patch:
