I can't study a bond

So I have aquired the bond of blood and soil for someone else's claim, but I can't study it. I can't do anything other than rename it. Has the transfer mechanics changed?

I can't move it into my study report, but neither can a friend of mine who has no claims at all. It's really odd...

I already have two bonds, and I could study one before, when I didn't even have clothes. I do not yet have yeomanry on this character though, but it hasn't stopped me from studying bonds before. It must have been a relatively recent addition, then.
