where's parry?

Postby Thedrah » Sun Nov 22, 2015 4:57 pm

i have 35ua/25mc and 23str/28agi which i can kill everything but deer, haven't tried bears or lynx. boars are the toughest and i usually fight them on a low cliff so i can build up defenses then run up and go through a rotation. i don't use archery much

i haven't gotten parry yet from anything and it's bothering me a lot. where have you guys gotten parry from?

and what do you guys do with bones? i seem to be stockpiling a lot.

You cant have too many boens, make still lifes and autostudy them. Or make boneglue or something.
Also you havent killed that much animals if you have no parry yet. Kill more and hope for discoveries.

Seer's Bones are better curios than Still Lifes if you have spare space in your study interface. I agree with the above poster; you can never have enough bones.

If you have bonus higher q bones seers bones are quite a nice bone heavy curio. Quick study time however. Low q bones are needed for lc production (bone glue).

does it have to be a sword? i got a metal axe and being a hermit i don't have a large/reliable source of iron. i found a spot of surface iron and i'm on a cave with heavy earth

Pretty sure you will need a sword, I could be wrong but I dont think so. You can make a starter sword from wrought iron, which you can make if you smelt enough heavy earth (although you may want to find a better ore really).
