Crucible Help

Crucible Help

My apologies if this was answered before but I could not find the answer. I made a crucible and am able to put coal in but unable to use the crucible. There is no menu or open option when right clicking like on other furnaces. What am I doing wrong?

The crucible works like the anvil, quern, etc. Right-click after lighting it to "use it" so you can craft various items.

Are you talking about steel crucible?

It is not a steel Cruicible. I did add coal and light it but am unable to right click and open it.

You don't "open it". There is no indication on the HUD your using it. Just right-click it and your character walks over to it and begins using it. However I'm pretty sure there is a visual indication of you using it.

Nothing comes up when I right click it....unlike a kiln nothing opens and when trying to utilize it, the prompt still says to use a crucible.

Put coal in crucible.
The hole at the bottom of the crucible should be black, like coal.
Light the crucible with a torch or firebrand.
The hole at the bottom of the crucible should be a fire, like coal on fire.
Right click the crucible.
Craft whatever it is you need to craft.
