How do i shear tamed sheeps?

Postby drakon333 » Thu Dec 10, 2015 8:33 am

So i tamed couple of sheeps and cows. I presume u get milk from them if they are pregnant. But how can i shear tamed sheeps? There is no "Shear wool" etc. window like on the wild sheep. Clover wont work too.

They will change visually when they grow wool, through it may not be obvious and the best way to check is right click.

1. Equip sharp tool (any kind of axe or sword)
2. Right Click sheep
3. Select Shear Wool (hotkey 4)

Well my sheeps got white wool, so i thought i can shear it. I seen naked sheeps(or maybe they were pigs %)) and concluded that sheep will be naked or with fur, guess it got more stages.

Thanks but there is no 'Shear wool" item on the right click now.

Well i just sheared sheep tamed yesterday ,so i guess it takes around 24+- hours after taming for sheep to become shearable.

I believe a sheep with 10 wool quantity grows 1 wool per 24 hours. A tamed sheep always has 10, breeding can raise it for new sheep.
