Fodder to Curd rate

Postby DDDsDD999 » Sun Dec 13, 2015 11:29 pm

How many litres of swill does it take to produce a maw? I've done some math and would like some confirmations.

I'll assume quality is being raised in addition to maw production, so let's assume for every calf/ewe that goes on to become a breeder there is one that is culled for maw production. Effectively, 2 calves/ewes is worth one maw.

I believe it takes 5 real-life days for a pregnant cow/sheep to give birth. So effectively a pregnancy for a cow/sheep takes 11.25 litres of swill. Or does this mean in-game days?

Using the 2 calves/ewes per maw rule, 22.5 litres of swill is effectively 1 maw.

1 Maw becomes 3L of rennet.

Here's where I'm stuck: How many curds does 3L of rennet produce? I'm estimating .5l of rennet produces 20 curds, need confirmation on this.

Does it really? I feel tricked, my maws only produce 1L each.
