Bushes

I've noticed that bushes grow quite fast. The time it takes for a bush to grow to full maturity and bring a full fruit/berry load is shorter than the period it takes for it to refresh them after they're gone. So does this mean that if I want to tackle bush farming, it'd be more efficient to grow bushes, chop them, grow a new one and repeat than simply planting them and waiting for a refresh?

Elderberry gives wood blocks when chopped down, so if you need a quick boost for blocks (or sticks after splitting) it is a good choice. Unfortunately you can't get logs from them to make boards...

All do. I'm not sure if the ratio varies on how often they give them or not based on shrub type. I've not chopped a lot down. Jorb stated it was something like 1:5 chance to get a block.
