Flint & Steel

I noticed in a recent patch, it was said Flint & Steel was put in on this world; however, I cannot find it on the crafting menus.

Do I need to re-discover Flint and Steel first or was this removed when the inspiration wear system was removed?

Have you discovered steel nuggets? If so, you probably have to rediscover, though I think that problem was fixed a while ago.

Ahh, that would be it; never turned any of the steel into nuggets on this character.
