How can I go about gathering lots of food as a hermit?

Postby OblongNoodle » Sat Jan 16, 2016 3:41 am

So I feel like this is a dumb question, but I'm playing as a hermit and I have a few projects that include using a LOT of food in order to get my stamina up to finish them. I don't want to have to stop working every 30mins to go hunt or scavenge but that's what's happening. I have a farm going but that is a slow process to get where i need to be. Is there anything else I could be doing? Again I feel like this is a dumb question.

Thanks in advance!

You question seems more to be about energy...
Use a slave alt and let him rest in potatoes (RIP) when he has depleted his energy. Or maybe use better water or tea.

Or look for high energy, easy to get food: rat on a stick is a good example (450%). Beets and carrots provide the same amount of energy per tile: 300%, pumpkin: 600%, lettuce: 375%

If you have meat: meatpies: 700%, DDD: 800%, steak and tubers: 800%
