What's up with this world?

Hey,

I haven't been playing this game for a long time, so I'ld like someone to update me what's going on now. I remember that there were some big empires (Panda?), that there claimed a lot of ground that they were patroling it and so on.

Can anyone update me what are the "BIG" players, how the play looks like - is it still so easy to get killed by other players? : D

Its still easy to get killed by other players.
Especially if you are in densely populated area.

Best suggestion is to read through The Moot (previously In Congress Assembled). If you want to avoid most players, move out to the edges.

You'll probably get better quality answers to this in the Inn instead of here, though.

Pandemonium (Panda for short) of world 5 was one of the major factions you are thinking of.

The current factions at the moment is Ainran, Lords of Shadow, Great House, and NG+ (LadyGoo). Most of them are somewhat defunct due to lack of contents for the end game. New Brodgar was one but was raided and Robben left responsibility of the village. R'lyeh, former ally of Ainran was also raided.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Which means a new world and decent population again. Wait it out and give it a shot as many people are going to return (hopefully :) )

Most likely, although the same trend will happen unless torbjar add some good endgame content and not just trollz

or can't pay the sub or upgrade fee and drop out when they hit the minimum cap.
