What will happen to my existing character if world rest

So, I still don't get it. What will happen to my existing character if the world is rested? Will I lost all my skills,LPs and states? Or just lost some portion of them? What about my combat skills? Also, will I lose all my items? Can I carry out some of them to the new world?

just as in real life, when the world end, in either a whimper or a bang, there is nothing left, no you, no me, no anything, just our spirits drifting across an endless void, awaiting the creation of a new world whence we can be reborn, to strive once more to be better than we were in our previous lives.
