Returning to H&H after a long time, and I have a question

I haven't played H&H in quite a few years, and there seems to be a lot of changes, particularly this "verified" and "subscription" stuff. If I had an account from before they added that, does it still get unlimited playtime like every account used to? I'd assume not but I'm really hoping so, as this would determine whether or not I try to play this game again. Thanks for the help.

Id wait till next world to see whats going to happen with the payment system. There is no point in buying a sub currently.

Normally, the answer would be: No. However,

A new world will be starting the day after tomorrow. Among the changes in this new world is a complete overhaul of the subscription system. All players will be able to play for free for an unlimited time, but free players will have their stats and the quality of their items capped at 50. For verified users (one-time payment), this cap will be at 125. People with a monthly subscription will have their stats and item quality capped at 200.

Considering there's more free playtime than time left until the world reset, Haven is already effectively free right now.

But, you do get 48 hrs of initial free time, which is all you need atm.

So, you may as well use your 48hrs and get a feel for the new version and then check back thurs or fri to see what has changed.

What people said is for the new version.
If you verify your account (one time 15$), you can have unlimited access to the original H&H.
I can't say for how long it will last tho, or how many people are still playing it.

Thanks for the replies everybody. It makes more sense to me now. I guess I'll wait for the new version considering I can't find a single boulder or quarry and the world's being reset soon.

Yeah there is a problem with stone in the starting area, you need to walk about an hour in one direction I'm afraid, I found boulders about an hour south from there.

From what I'm gathering, even fewer than playing the new world. Enough that it just doesn't get shut down, not enough to get excited over.

As to how much longer it will last, I'd say watch this thread for "feature equivalency" with prior worlds (7 and earlier). Jorb has said w7 will come down at this point, if not before if people give up on playing it.
