Clay Pit Regen?

I've tried to search for this answer before posting though I can't seem to find it or even - I probably am not putting in the right key words.

I'm wondering if Clay Pits regen?

I know when searching for ball clay they would regen, and I just read a post about acre clay not regening.
This idea hit my mind as I have a Clay pit, and while traveling I saw another that had been used up.

I'm wondering that if used all the way? do they ever regen.

Ball clay regens periodically... not sure if on a timer or based on decay mechanic. It seems to be too reliable for the decay mechanic, though. At least every 24 hours, but I'm not sure how fast.

Acre clay... nope. You can dig it really, really deep, though, through making a wider and wider pit.

Clay Pits work like the other "regional resources" jorb mentions in the patch notes here. Regen is random and is pulled from a global pool. It is possible that the pool becomes depleted and thus the pits may take significantly longer to regen.

so the rate at which a pool regens depends on how many pools are needing regen? so my clay pit would regen at the same time as all the others? and the less pools that need regen the faster mine would regen?

its been like 24 hours and not a single piece of clay has regened, is this going to be the new 'cave clay'?

Don't worry, that isn't how it works. Once clay accumulates in your pit it can only be removed from your pit. It just seems like the regen times vary quite a bit.

well it finally regen'ed a singlular piece of clay XD itd be nice to see a rate of maybe one piece every 24 hours instead of nearly a week.

anyways, 2 more clay to go to pave what i wanted to pave XD
