How do I palisade?

I'm having issues building a palisade wall. I placed and built the initial corner post, which was fine. Then it would only extend roughly half of the distance of my perimeter. It's all leveled off and paved, for the record. So, I built that extension thinking it would allow me to continue...it did not.

I've tried building a new corner post at the end of this extension, but it is not at the reduced cost. Before attempting to seal it and build a corner post, to find out if it's reduced cost corner or not, I'd like to be absolutely certain.

Can anyone help me out on this?

Wall segments only allow +-3 terrain level difference. you can make a survey under terraforming menu and see how much difference it has,if its mor than 3 you need to add or dig soil

when you right click the wall segment do you get any option?

.....Oh. I tried that before, but with your suggestion tried again in many different places...and you have to right-click on the VERY last segment. I feel like an idiot now. Thanks much, mate.
