Fishing question

Postby DamJNeT » Tue Mar 01, 2016 6:36 pm

I see on the wiki differenciation between lake and river, but what is a lake exactly ?

Is is only those contained by land only, or the big ones you find regularly while boating around in rivers ? I'm talking about the ones with one/few rivers connected to them ?

Thank you

both. though i'm not sure if there is a distinction between that in game, i think it's based on tile type, just shallow and deep water. but could be i guess.

maybe its salt and fresh water?

as you do get different types of fish in those enviroments. i think humans can eat anytype of fresh water fish. But you need to be careful with saltwater.

Although im not bear gryls so i claim no responsibility if you eat a fish from a fresh water lake and get taken to A&E.

I don't know, I've just read the wiki and according to it there is a difference between shallow and deep rivers and lakes.
