Seeds?

How do i get seeds from carrot? I sow the first i've found but when i harvest the carrots i get none. Maybe have to wait another growh stage?

the carrot is the seed. but carrots have 3 harvestable stages. 1st gives a single carrot, 2nd is seedbearing (white spots), 3rd gives many carrots.

okkay, thanks, i was harvesting them just at first stage then :p
