you can kill a horse or any animal when you have a small marksman skill go on a boat and let the agro you and then just use a sling, couse sling does not need alot marksman points there is not a certain marksman skill level to kill anything
it just takes longer to get the bar up

I found 50uac with leather armor good enough to take down everything with a sword last world
Agility is more important

30ua/30mc i can kill everything upto a boar with sword/shield, haven't tried a horse yet but will soon

i test the waters on new animals by using a ridge. testing how much they take off my defenses and how quick they attack

I killed a boar with 18 agility, 20ua, and 10mc, no armor and a shitty bronze sword.


Boars seen that agile and you can outrun them though, speed itself makes horses much more difficult.
