How do I make tanning fluid?

Ok! So I read the previous treads about it and proceeded doing this.

1. You can't hold a full bucket in your inventory, so I tried to make it out of a barrel first. "You do not have all the ingredients"
2. Holding a full bucket above my head and craft it. "You do not have all the ingredients"
3. I managed to get a bucket of water in a container by emptying my water skin on it enough times, and empty bucket in my inventory. "You do not have anywhere to place the tanning fluid"
4. I tried putting another bucket inside the crate with all the ingredients. "You do not have anywhere to place the tanning fluid"
5. I tried have a tanning tub open while having the crate inventory open and craft it. "You do not have anywhere to place the tanning fluid"
6. I tried having a barrel open while crafting out of the crate. "You do not have anywhere to place the tanning fluid"

I had some issues as well. What you do:

Hold bark in inventory.
Place a bucket in 1 hand slot
Place another bucket in the other hand slot.
Fill one bucket with water, put it back in your hand slot.
Press craft.

One bucket will have tanning fluid, the other will be empty.

Jorb, please make Loftar fix this.

Either convert water inside the bucket, or let us craft from an open barrel.

Please, this is complete non-fun.

I remember being able to do that in the past ? Was it on legacy or what ? I have memories of crafting tanning fluid holding a barrel of water...

legacy you filled the tub with water, then placed a piece of bark in it.

This is stupid, we should be able to craft this with one full bucket, where the tanning fluid replaces the water in the bucket.
