how do i fill a tanning tub and how i make a smilter?

you fill a tanning tub by making tanning fluid which is made by getting bark and 2 buckets and filling one with water. smelters are made with clay and bricks.

Clarification, you make kiln out of clay and fill it with clay and then fire it up to make bricks.

Also, to fuel the smelter you will need to mine black coal or make a tar kiln out of clay and stone to make charcoal, which you load with wood blocks and light.
Come back two hours earlier.
