Brick quality

Postby RamboMesser » Mon Mar 14, 2016 4:14 am

Heyho,

i burned some bricks a few days ago and i found that the quality decreased even tho the quality of the kiln was equal to the clay quality. So is the quality of the bricks you burn dependent on anything else?

Also does Wood quality depend on the tools you use and/or your skills?

Fuel quality (the wood you put in) is normally 1/4 of the resultant quality formula for burning things in kilns.

Block quality is determined by a tree's quality, isn't raised or lowered by tools or skills.

Board quality is determined by the average of your tree's quality and your saw's quality, capped by your carpentry skills.

Branches can be split from blocks, and the resultant quality is the average of your tree's quality and axe's quality, with no skill cap.
