right click the grapes in your inventory then left click the extraction press

right-click on the press, it will open an inventory. put the grapes in there like you would in any container and press button.

this feels like a troll post, because i cant quite believe that someone can be this dumb, but here goes.

right click the extraction press you'll see your character interact with it, a grid of 5x5 green squares will show up with a "press" button at the bottom. left click a grape in your inventory and then left click a square inside the press grid to place the grape into it. left click press to press said grape. or a much faster method is to hold shift and alt and right click a grape in your inventory, this will move all grapes at once into the press. this works for any container.

after you have pressed your grapes in the press, you will need to left click and hold a bucket then right click the bucket on the press to get the grape juice, you cannot put the bucket back in your inventory after you do this, you must equip it in your hand slot, if your hand slots are full, it is safe to drop the bucket on the ground until you free one up.

the grape juice will go bad eventually, and turn into vinegar if left alone for a long enough period of time. if however you store your juice in a demijohn it will turn into wine first, then vinegar. if you would like to avoid having your juice/wine age into the next stage, store it in a barrel. this will prevent any liquid from changing.

also dont forget that juice left inside the extraction press can age as well, if you could press grapes in there while it has say, vinegar in it. all of the new juice your pressing will cease to exist. grapes wasted.

i hope that was enough detail for you. only the most abysmal of morons could screw up after all i told you.

edit: i suppose i should add that you can press flax seeds in extraction presses as well. for linseed oil that is used in conjunction with flax seeds and flour to bake linseed loafs. make sure your press is empty before pressing anything different in it.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

hehe yea this is actually a serious post. I feel so dumb re-reading it now. I just couldn't seem to figure out how to do it. The actual problem was that i accidentally set both mouse buttons to the same button, and my dumb brain couldn't notice for a minute that one of them wasn't working properly, so i decided to go to the forums before I noticed that problem. Thank you for the elaborate response though

always nice to hear that its a reasonable person making a mistake as opposed to a true moron. however im curious, how did you even bind both mouse buttons to the same button? like a keybinding or does your mouse actually left and right click at once when you click either button?

I was messing around with X-mouse button control and I forgot that I had set them both to the same button, so I guess sort of like keybinding
