How long does it take for a Human body to decay?

How long does it take for a Human body to decay? Also will it decay in my house on my claim? I'm waiting for my ancestor to turn to a skeleton so the poor fellow can be buried. It was horrible... don't ask :(

This timeframe can maybe be something like 48 hours.

don't let it decay in your house, the drops will scatter and may fall into the black unreachable area.

It has been at least 20 hrs now. Ill let you all know about how long it takes. I removed all clothes so there shouldn't be any drops, I'm scared to leave him outside. I don't want anyone stealing him.... This is not a strange conversation, perfectly normal.
