Weapon damage

Postby ivka » Sun Mar 27, 2016 9:19 am

Since I haven't found this information in wiki, I decided to post what I have found here.

Weapon - base damage.

Stone axe: 30
Metal axe: 45
Fyrdsman's sword: 70
Boar spear: 80
Bronze sword: 90
Hirdsman's sword: 125
Battleaxe of the Twelth Bay: not tested yet

Cutthroat knuckles: add constant amount of damage to all unarmed attacks (except kick - because it is leg) disregarding your ua, strength and base damage of the attack.
For q 18.4 19.5 19.4 damage was +6.
For q 32.3 37.0 37.9 damage was +9.
For q 39.9 47.5 48.1 damage was +10.
Seems to be 5 base damage multiplied by SQRT(Quality/10) and rounded down, where Quality is either substance, vitality or average quality. Need more testing though.

It should be added to one of these custom clients, you hover around a weapon and it shows how much dmg it deals.

I think it can be better for you to edit the wikipedia instead of/with addition to the postings here.

It might be because he wants confirmation of the data he possessive for accuracy before making the edit. I've done a few of these myself, either in the forum or within my current faction group, in the past.

This can be a good point. Then, take my comment with meaning of ''please include to the wikipedia this information when it can be with final confidence.''

I think wikipedia contributions are with a lot of importance.

Worth noting that the clients pull from the RoB wiki for their tooltip information.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Bows - 80
Stone arrow - 80
Bone arrow - 100
Spear - 80
Sling - ?

Almost all formulas related to damage will be

Base * sqrt((X)/10), where X is (Substance + Stat)/2

For melee weapons, this is usually strength, for ranged this is perception.
