Difference between unarmed combat and melee combat?

Postby AzTno » Sun Mar 27, 2016 10:33 pm

What are the differences? If I use a sword and a shield do I just need unarmed combat? When do I switch from unarmed to melee? How does this all work?

When you have a look at your combat moves you will see the "weight" of the attacks or defenses.

For dodge, punch, etc... you will see a fist, which represents your UA.

Moves as shield up you will see a little shield and sword representing your MC.

And for moves like chop, the attack weight depends on the vitality QL of your weapon and your MC skill. The base damage depends on the weapon.
