Prospecting?

Is rustroot still in, and I'm just not good enough to see it? Or gone forever?
I'm tired of randomly smacking my cave walls for ore, all I've gotten is useless useless stone.

It's in. Our village outdoorsman has given me a boatload to work with.

Definitely still in. Dark green forests are where I've been finding most of mine, and it seems like it's still at the 1k base per*exp

also, unlike w7, rustroot extract only shows what is below you, it no longer gives a direction of ore while underground.

Why did it show a cone like pointer then? And also showed what's directly below

The pointer thing shows the direction "to check" for nearest ore one level under you.
