Map Limit

Ok. this is bothering me for some time. Some times i see that there's a item in the minimap. I go that direction, but out of nowhere, i stop. Like there's invisible wall that only let me stay at one part of my map. Is this some kind of limitation?

Yep, that's the limit of the map.

You do not know pain until the animal you can hunt will run out of the map as you chase it.
