New Player Seeking Help

Postby Fidgety » Sat Apr 02, 2016 10:21 am

Hi,

I have come to the game from Salem, or at least I'm trying to. I have tried getting the game running but am having a problem with the game lagging / stuttering. I had a similar problem on Salem but managed to play that game with the help of using enders client, and a "res" fix from a player over there.
Could anyone point me in the direction of some help?
I have a laptop that is not top end, but plays other 3d mmos that in appearance, have much more detailed 3d graphics and run no problem.
I have 64x java installed and have attempted enders client. The client has all graphics on lowest but I haven't managed to get a character created due to stuttering which puts me off.
I have also tried using amber client but clicking options crashes the client as does trying to log in. It gives a error relating to wrong "res".
Hoping that a more experienced player that has had similar problems will be able to point me in the right direction.
The graphics chip is Intel based. I know some games have problems with this.

Ok, do you have any advice of how I can optimize it?

Update your graphics drivers, lower the graphics settings, get razer cortex booster or manually exit all the programs eating your ram or get a high end rig...
You could also wait for the devs to optimize the client.

Well, this was the same as I was told on Salem, until I learnt of the res fix myself. I really hope I can find something similar here. It's laughable saying a game like this needs a high end rig when my laptop plays unchartered waters on full settings.

It would be super nice if someone made a minimalist or unnoticable graphics pack like Judaism did for salem.
:D

Salem did work for me with only a few lag spikes now and then. Problem was it crashed all the time. The custom res fix you speak of fixed the game for me.
I don't have high hopes from what you are saying. I'm downloading something else now sigh.
Thanks for posting the link, but, I know from experience, game boosters and little windows tweaks rarely do any good.

I think you should post your problem in the bug session in this fórum. I my case i have a notebook with a standart Intel graphic board and another dedicated graphic board, i just put de "java.exe" in the post of programa that active the dedicated one on the NVIDIA manegment settngs. I hope it will do for you.
