Daily quests/new moves.

So i have a problem and i wonder is it just me or someone have same problem too.
For 3-4 days i cant get any EP. I drink/jump from the cliff/craft/lift/enter cave and still got 0 EP.
Same problem with moves discovery, i killed around 50 bats, 25 foxes, 10 boars, and move discovery just do not appears. (Im trying to dicover sting, for fight im using mostly parry/punch. Inb4 yes i have shield and sword).
What am i doing wrong?

I think for combat discovering, you can't get them all from all the animal. According from the wiki, you can get sting from the pig and badger only.

Experience point seems to come and go with the gaining. Some time I will get no events for some days, and other time I can get all of the event in the row.

Well, the point is that i cant get ANY new, combat moves. And all i have from melee is parry/shield up.

So there is not way to earn EP other than randomly do stuff daily?

some are really weird like the motherlode, you gotta mine and find an ore. or one that there's a rat in the basement/cellar

you do get some ip when you fight, right? for you to get sting or anything that takes ip, you need to actually have the ip in fight to learn it

So, if i understood you right, there could be one quest that i should finish to refresh all of them? This is kinda weird.

Oh, that makes sense now, since i got no ip moves, i never actually used ip in combat, ill try, thank you.

another hint: don't believe on "you can get x move from x animal only", as, someone pointed above, wiki says you can only get sting from boar and I got sting from FOX! And try wearing a spear boar. I just got sting after I wielded a spear boar and went fighting things with it equiped! U'll need UA defenses since you can't use parry with a spear, and its also 2 handed, so you can't wear a shield to use shields up!

Update: Suddenly all ok now, when i use initiative i getting new moves. And today i finally got EP from drinking from the flask and lifting an object. Dunno what was that, but there was 4 days without any quests. Still dont understand this system. Thanks everyone for help, i think topic could be closed now.

You need to have the correct amount of ip as well as sword/shield. Sting is 3+ ip to discover, cleave, low blow, zig-zag etc. are a lot more.
