Move lists for animals?

Postby Smoopadoop » Mon Apr 04, 2016 8:35 am

Can someone put together a move list for creatures, and show what kinda of attack they can't defend from, and how much health they have, etc.
Right now I'm tryna fight a bat but can't seem to find what its weak to.

Spam quick dodge and punch, finish it off with a haymaker. When it gets 2 IP, jump.

Or just donk it with a sword idunno.

With quickdodge, punches and 20 ua and agi you should clean caves.
Once this is easy for you, and with about 30 agi and ua you should easily kill badgers and foxes. Foxes are quiet fast thou.
40 agi and ua try with boars.
Against foxes and badgers use jump and sidestep, or if you already have learned parry use it while holding a sword.
Its important for you to have defensive gear.

You can start with a couple of leather armors and a helmet if you have already killed boars with arrows, or badgers vests.
Once you kill bats craft bat capes, they give armor too.
They are all quite easy animals to kill.
Remember to rise defenses all the time while fighting.
Also if you want ot use haymaker, remember to have your defs rises because it has a hellish cooldown and you can get rekd while waiting.

One more thing> Boars has one special attack, romp or something like this. That can give you problems. They only use it if you rise certain defense i dont remember.

The "special move" is tusk romp. It hits red only if you break it, so is hard to defend against with ua, and is a green/red defense, so easily avoided with left hook or low blow.

Most animals (boars and lower at least) attack with green/blue moves frequently, and then when they get a couple IP, they will do a yellow attack, which will hurt badly if unblocked. Boars have a defense called tusk romp, which you do not want to attack, so your options are either to use only attacks that do not hit tusk romp (left hook and such) or you have to only attack when tusk romp is not active, which can be risky, because you never know when it will go back up.

It's not hard to learn to time attacks to land during the animal's cooldown period. It's a skill to learn if you want to fight better overall.
