An authority object cannot be placed there

Postby matthew381 » Mon Apr 04, 2016 8:49 am

we are trying to expand out village but that error is keep occuring. area is flattne, paved and inside of village. there is no reason to say that

simple map for better understanding

box with black line is original village area. we can build authority object in there so we managed to expand it a bit.

box with red line is expanded village area. its not even covering entire village because of error.

area between red line and black line is where the problem is. we try to place banner in that area but it wont work with "An authority object cannot be placed there" error.

as i said, area is flattened and paved. I think there is no reason for error.
am I missing something? plz halp

what authority object are you trying to place, if it is another vclaim them it cannot be close enough to overlap another vclaim, if it is a banner then it has to be place on land aready covered by part of a vclaim, usually done right on the edge to expand the area.

it should only need to be placed on a flat, paved tile inside the current village claim. there is no other claim, personal claim, or village claim, nearby?

there is some personal claims nearby but its almost 1 grid away from the place we trying to expand now.we have some field claim that we made inside of original village area but its also at least half grid away from place we want to expand.
i think it is glitch. i don't think claim that is 1 grid away can effect that. gotta ask to bug report. thx for answer.

"An authority object cannot be placed there" is the message you get when trying to place a banner outside of the already claimed area - they must be placed on a tile that is claimed.

Do you try to build it with a character that isn't a village member or lacks the 'Manage territory' permission
or do you try to place it in an area gouverned by a Field Cairn that denies that permision?

I even gave full permission to every colour and tried again. still same error. it really drive me crazy
