barley and beehives

correct me if i'm wrong but beehives don't make barley grow faster. but does barley still produce wax and honey? too lazy to figure out hehe

Honey and wax are dependent on the amount of crops they pollinate, so no.

You're probably noticing the passive production all hives have.
