Combination of materials for stone column

I am trying to build a column with Sandstone and bronze. I but once It is not accepting the bronze bar, saying I have no applicable material.


Is this a bug or are there certain combinations of stone/metal that are not accepted

Do you have a crafting window open that uses metal (making the bronze bar green)?

Happens sometimes i guess, my well didnt accept 2 boards one time, later it was cool. Try later or with different bar.
